As inventory falls drastically, median home prices are starting to rise for now. As you can see, home prices have continued to fall from December of 2009 until June of 2010. Then in July, the median price has started to creep back up a bit. Inventory has remained somewhat consistent since beginning of this year at just below 9,000 units in Oakland County compared to over 13,000 units in Oakland County this time last year. Days on market, which used to be 215 days as recent of March of this year is now approaching as little as 100 days.
