Oakland County Real Estate Market Update!
Wednesday, August 4th, 2010As inventory falls drastically, median home prices are starting to rise for now. As you can see, home prices have continued to fall from December of 2009 until June of 2010. Then in July, the median price has started to creep back up a bit. Inventory has remained somewhat consistent since beginning of this year at just below 9,000 units in Oakland County compared to over 13,000 units in Oakland County this time last year. Days on market, which used to be 215 days as recent of March of this year is now approaching as little as 100 days.

Friday, July 9th, 2010Today, starting at 4 p.m. at Woody’s Diner in Royal Oak, the Waltonwood Senior Living is holding a fundraiser for the Alzheimers Association. They are asking for a $10 minimum donation to support the cause. They plan on having a 50/50 raffle and door prizes along with music and dancing. This is such a great cause!
